New here - long-time believer, first time posting!

Hello everyone! I'm Sarah, 34, from Yorkshire (near Hebden Bridge). I've been lurking on Quirk Reports for about eight months and finally worked up the courage to actually join and post. The community here seems really balanced - you've got skeptics, believers, and people just genuinely interested in the unexplained, which I appreciate.

A bit about me: I've been interested in the paranormal since I was a kid (found my mum's collection of Colin Wilson books when I was twelve, been hooked ever since). I've done some amateur ghost hunting in the Pennines, I'm fascinated by cryptozoology, and I've had a couple of experiences I can't explain which got me properly invested. I'm not one of those 'everything is supernatural' people - I think a lot of things have rational explanations - but some things genuinely aren't as straightforward as that.

I'm here to learn, share, and meet like-minded people. Looking forward to actual conversations rather than the usual dismissal you get down the pub. Cheers for having me!

Welcome, Sarah! Hebden Bridge is brilliant for this sort of thing - loads of history and reports around there. Have you investigated anything on the moors yet? The Pennines are a proper hotspot for unexplained activity. Always good to have another Yorkshire member.

Another Yorkshire person! Are you near any of the supposedly haunted locations round there? Pendle Hill's not far from you. There's loads of activity reported in that region if you fancy doing some investigating. We sometimes organize group investigations if people are interested.
