MoD finally releases 1970s UFO files from Scottish Highlands - anything new?

Right, so the MoD has quietly dumped another batch of previously classified documents onto their website. Mostly redacted nonsense as usual, but I've spotted references to three separate incidents in the Scottish Highlands between 1973-1976 that mention "unidentified aerial phenomena" and something about Rapier missile sites being on high alert.

Has anyone gone through these yet? The papers mention coordinates near Fort William. Wondering if this ties into that shepherd's account from the 1970s that was published in that old Fortean Times issue. The timing of this release - right as we head into the dark months - seems deliberate to me.

Finally went through the FOI request and most of it's completely blacked out with "national security" stamped all over it. The only readable bits confirm what we already knew - military radar picked something up, they didn't know what it was, and it's still unsolved. Classic MoD transparency, innit.

I've been researching this angle. The shepherd (name still redacted, naturally) reported seeing a triangular craft hovering low enough to disturb his livestock. The dates match perfectly - 28th November 1974. Weather reports show clear skies that night. Pretty compelling if you ask me.

All this to hide what? We know the US was testing experimental aircraft over the UK with RAF cooperation. Why the theatrical redaction? Just tell us it was a Skunk Works prototype and be done with it. The secrecy itself is more suspicious than anything else.

Has anyone checked whether there were any solar activity anomalies in 1973-1976? Genuinely curious if we're looking at natural atmospheric phenomena being misidentified. The MoD would classify a weather balloon if it made them look incompetent.
