I'm posting this because I genuinely don't know what else to do and this community seems like the only place that won't immediately dismiss me as bonkers.

Last Wednesday night (17th November, around 11 PM) I was driving home from my girlfriend's flat in Coventry on the M6. I remember passing Junction 2, it was raining lightly, my satnav said 28 minutes to home. Clear memory of this.

Next thing I know, I'm parked on a layby near Keele Services and it's 2:47 AM. Three hours and forty minutes just... gone. I have no recollection whatsoever of those hours. I wasn't tired, I hadn't been drinking. My mobile was dead which was odd because it had 60% battery. The car was running.

I'm not going to say it was aliens because that sounds ridiculous, but I've had this horrible feeling ever since. And there's this weird mark on my inner arm - perfectly circular, about the size of a 50p coin. It doesn't hurt but it wasn't there before. I know how this reads. Help?

Mate, that sounds like a medical emergency or a mental health crisis, not a UFO encounter. Unexplained missing time that long could indicate a dissociative episode, a seizure, or something genuinely dangerous. Please see your GP before you worry about aliens. I'm not being funny - this genuinely needs proper medical attention.

The circular mark is interesting. Have you taken a photo of it? Can you describe it in more detail - raised skin, discolouration, texture? And when exactly did you notice it? I've read quite a few abduction accounts and the 'scoop marks' are usually consistent. This could be something worth investigating properly.

Oh come on. The most logical explanation is he either had a mini-stroke, suffered a seizure, or blacked out for some other medical reason. Adding 'aliens did it' to legitimate health concerns is irresponsible. OP, seriously, see a doctor first. Then if they rule everything out, come back to the paranormal angle.

Do you have any dreams or half-memories from that time? Sometimes abductees have fragmented recollections that come back as dreams. You might want to keep a dream journal. Also, has your behaviour changed since? Unusual sensitivity to light or sound? Appetite changes? It's worth documenting everything.

Check if anyone else saw your car on the motorway during that time. Ring Highways England, they've got traffic cameras. That's actual evidence gathering rather than speculation. If your car was stationary for hours on the motorway someone might've reported it.
