I've been trying to write this post for months and I still don't quite know how to articulate it. I'm putting it out here because I need to know if what happened to me is something other people have experienced. I'm not looking for validation exactly, just... context.

June 14th, 2023. I was driving across Bodmin Moor in the early evening - around 7pm. I was heading from Liskeard to Bodmin for a friend's birthday drinks. The weather was clear, visibility was excellent, hardly any traffic. I remember the light very clearly - that golden hour light you get in June.

Next thing I'm aware of, I'm pulling into Bodmin town centre and my dashboard clock says 7.47pm. That's normal driving time for that route. Except I have absolutely zero memory of the drive. Nothing. No landmarks, no other cars, no thought process. It's like a section of my consciousness is just... missing. About 25 minutes gone.

I know how this sounds. Microsleep, dissociation, whatever. But it's never happened to me before or since. I was well-rested, I wasn't on any medication, I hadn't been drinking. I was actively engaged and alert one moment and then suddenly in a different location with no memory of the transition. I went to the doctor about it and they basically said 'probably just a weird thing, don't worry about it' which was simultaneously reassuring and completely unhelpful.

About a week later I noticed a small triangular mark on my right shoulder blade that I definitely didn't have before. It's barely visible now but it was red and slightly raised when it first appeared. I didn't injure myself - I would remember that.

This is textbook missing time combined with a possible implant mark. The shoulder blade location is interesting - that's where several documented abductees report marks. I'm not trying to freak you out but I'd gently suggest documenting this further. Take photos of your shoulder if the mark reappears. Also - and this might sound odd - have you experienced any unusual dreams or unexplained anxiety since the incident?

The Bodmin area has quite a high frequency of unexplained activity actually. There's a significant ley line intersection nearby if you're into that sort of thing. Could be coincidence, could be that certain geographic locations are... more active. Worth looking into the history of that area.

Here's the thing though - it might actually be microsleep or temporal dissociation. Not trying to be dismissive, genuinely. But sometimes the paranormal explanation isn't the correct one, and that's okay. The medical explanation is also okay to investigate fully. Have you seen a neurologist since the GP? Might be worth ruling out anything neurological before jumping to abduction.

I had almost exactly this experience on the A303 near Stonehenge in 2019. Twenty minutes missing, no memory, arrived at destination with perfect time elapsed. Never found an explanation. The thing that got me was the sense of 'rightness' about it - like my subconscious wasn't alarmed even though my conscious mind was confused. Does that resonate with you at all?

Missing time cases are frustrating because they're either mundane neurological events or genuinely extraordinary, and there's basically no way to definitively know which. The mark is more interesting though. If it reappears, get it photographed and possibly biopsied. That's actual physical evidence rather than subjective experience.

Bodmin has been on my radar for years. The moor itself feels strange - I've hiked it and the electromagnetic sensation is noticeable. Could be geological factors though. There's been increased UFO activity in Cornwall generally over the past few years, so you wouldn't be alone in the experience.
