Maintenance window this Saturday — site will be down for a few hours

Fair enough, these things need doing. Just hope it doesn't clash with Saturday evening when I usually catch up on teh forums with a brew.

Anyone know roughly what time they're planning to take it down? Even a ballpark would help, saves me trying to post something and wondering why nothing's loading. Had that happen on another forum once and spent about 20 minutes thinking my internet had gone funny before I figured it out.

Glad they're giving us a heads up at least. Some places just go dark with no warning whatsoever.

@TotallyRevenant they usually post the specific time window in a follow-up pinned announcement closer to the date, worth keeping an eye on the top of the announcements board Friday night.

Most maintenance windows I've seen here tend to be morning or early afternoon UK time, probably to minimise disruption. Saturday evening should be fine.
