Maintenance window this Saturday – site will be down for a few hours

Fair enough, these things have to happen. Hope the team can get it sorted quicker than expected - always seems to go smoother when you're not watching the clock.

Just a heads up for anyone who might be mid-post during the window, probably worth drafting anything longer in notepad first. Lost a decent write-up on a poltergeist case study I was documenting last year because the site went down unexpectedly and I hadn't saved anything. Still annoyed about that one honestly.

Anyone know if theres a rough time it's kicking off? Might plan around it if I can, got a few threads I want to contribute to this weekend.

Good time to touch grass for a few hours lol. Also if theres any new members reading this who joined recently and are confused why the site is down Saturday - don't panic, you haven't been banned or anything! Stick around, this community is genuinely one of the better ones for getting into the weird stuff without people tearing your head off for asking basic questions.

@InfernalEcto905 good shout on the touch grass thing honestly, might use the downtime to go check out a trail I've been meaning to revisit for some footprint casts.

For anyone who does cache stuff locally or has bookmarked threads mid-read, worth saving any links before Saturday morning just in case the maintenance runs long. Sometimes these windows stretch a bit depending on what the admins are actually working on under the hood.
