Fair enough, these things have to be done. Just hope it doesn't coincide with that Mothman sighting thread I've been meaning to get back to - there's a bloke on there who posted some genuinely interesting radar data from Point Pleasant and I've had a response half-typed for three days now.
Anyone else always manage to remember a site is down right at the exact moment they want to use it? Murphy's Law in full effect. Saturday night is probably a sensible choice for timing though, traffic will be lower I'd imagine.
Will the post editor retain any drafts or should I copy mine out before then? I've lost half-written posts to maintenance windows before and at my age I don't have the patience to reconstruct a technical argument from scratch. Mods, any guidance on that would be appreciated.
