Is it normal to feel watched after a paranormal experience?

After my encounter two weeks ago (the one in London Underground at King's Cross, which I posted about in late October), I've had this persistent sensation of being watched. Not paranoid exactly - I don't think someone's actually following me. But there's this presence, like attention directed at me. Especially at night, especially at home.

It sounds daft written out, but it's a physical sensation sometimes - the back of my neck prickling, that feeling you get in dreams when something's looking at you. Some nights it's stronger than others. I've checked my flat thoroughly (no break-ins, nothing disturbed), installed additional locks, and ruled out any rational explanation.

The original experience was a figure in the tunnel at King's Cross around 22:00, definitely humanoid but not quite human movement. Witnesses saw it too - at least three other people reacted. I reported it to TfL but they said "nothing unusual" (clearly lying).

I'm wondering if encountering something paranormal creates a kind of link or attention from entities? Or am I experiencing psychological aftereffects of a genuinely frightening event? Either way it's affecting my sleep and I'm not sure what to do about it. Has anyone else experienced this lingering sensation?

The feeling of being watched after a supernatural encounter is well-documented - whether it's actually paranormal attention or psychological fallout from trauma is the question. Either way, you should probably speak to someone - therapist for the psychological angle, paranormal investigator for the literal angle.

Especially at night, especially at home.
This pattern (worse at night, worse at home) suggests psychological rather than paranormal. Trauma creates hypervigilance. Your nervous system is stuck in alert mode. That's treatable - might not sound as dramatic as "an entity is watching you," but at least it's something you can fix.

Genuinely interested in the King's Cross incident - this is London's most active paranormal hotspot. The Underground network's got centuries of activity. If you felt the same presence before the encounter, that's different from aftereffects. Did you feel watched BEFORE you saw the figure?

Some people's nervous systems are just more sensitive to paranormal stimuli. You might be one of them. Which is actually useful in a way - you could contribute to research. But first, look after yourself: get proper sleep, avoid the Underground for a bit if it helps, and consider grounding techniques for the anxiety.

King's Cross is built on burial ground and old plague pits from the Great Plague. Tons of residual spiritual activity there. Whether something attached to you or your heightened awareness is just picking up on London's usual psychic background noise... hard to say. But yes, this is worth investigating properly.
