Hi everyone, I'm Ross, just joined tonight. I'm from Aberdeen and I'm still basically in shock from what happened to me last Tuesday evening. My sister told me about this forum and said maybe talking to people who actually believe in this stuff might help.

I don't really know how to explain it without sounding completely mental. I was driving home from work around 6.15pm on the A90, just south of Aberdeen, and my car just... stopped. Not broke down - the engine was running, but nothing would respond. The steering wheel wouldn't move, the brakes felt soft, the car just coasted to a stop. I was terrified. There was nothing on the road, no reason for it to happen. Then about two minutes later, everything came back to normal. Engine was fine, everything responded normally.

I've had the car serviced and the mechanic says there's nothing wrong with it. I'm scared to drive that route again if I'm being honest. Has anyone else experienced something like this? Is it a known thing in your experience community? Any advice would be appreciated.

Welcome aboard, Ross. You're not mental and you're definitely not alone. Vehicle interference incidents are actually one of the most commonly reported phenomena across multiple forums and paranormal groups - there's literally hundreds of documented cases. Good instinct checking the car with a mechanic first though, that rules out the mundane explanation.

Did you see anything unusual in the sky or nearby before or after the incident? Any lights, strange sounds, feeling of being watched? Also - and sorry for the intrusive question - but did you lose any time? Like, does two minutes feel right to you, or could it have been longer?

Aberdeen's got quite a history of this sort of thing actually. There've been several UFO sightings reported in the area over the years, including some quite credible ones. Stick around and have a read through the Alien Contact forum - you'll find some similar stories. Also try the Simulation Theory forum if you want a different take on what might have happened.

This is straight-up Rendlesham Forest type stuff. Not quite as dramatic but the mechanism is similar. Electromagnetic interference causing vehicle systems to malfunction. Does your car have a dash cam? If it does, check the footage - sometimes they pick up anomalies the driver misses.
