Hello from Nottinghamshire - still getting my head around all this

Right, bit nervous posting here but my mate Dave won't stop going on about Quirk Reports so I've finally made an account. I'm Sarah, 34, from just outside Nottingham. I've always been a bit sceptical about all the paranormal stuff if I'm honest, but something happened to me about six months ago that I can't quite explain and it's been doing my head in ever since.

Without going into massive detail (yet!), I saw something in the sky over Sherwood Forest that didn't move like anything I've ever seen. It was silent. Completely silent. My husband thinks I'm mad but I know what I saw. So here I am, trying to figure out if there's actually a community of people who won't immediately dismiss me as barking.

Looking forward to chatting with you all and maybe getting some answers. Fair warning though - I'll probably ask a lot of daft questions while I'm finding my feet!

Welcome to the madhouse, Sarah! Don't worry about scepticism - we've got plenty of it here, which actually keeps things honest. The Sherwood sighting is genuinely interesting. That area has had quite a bit of activity over the years. When you're ready, we'd love to hear the full story. No pressure though!

Another Nottinghamshire person! I'm in Mansfield. The silent aircraft thing is actually more common than you'd think - loads of reports of that exact phenomenon. Your husband will come round eventually, mine thought I was mad until he witnessed something himself. Stick around and you'll find yourself in good company. 😊

Have you had any unusual experiences since the Sherwood incident? Sometimes after witnessing something, a few more odd things start happening. Not trying to freak you out, just genuinely curious. Also, what time of day was it? That detail matters more than people realise.
