Right, I've been lurking for about three months and finally worked up the courage to post. My name's Trevor, I'm from just outside Bodmin, and I reckon I've seen something I can't explain.

Last Halloween (so about a year ago now), I was driving home from the pub around 11:30pm on the moors. Clear night, decent visibility. About halfway between Bodmin and Liskeard, my car just... died. Radio went off, headlights dimmed, the lot. I sat there for maybe five minutes absolutely bricking it, then everything came back on and the car started first try.

I know the moors have a reputation, and I've always been a bit sceptical about all this stuff, but something felt wrong that night. Nobody else seems to believe me, so I'm hoping you lot might take me seriously. Looking forward to chatting with you all!

Welcome aboard, Trevor! Car electrics failing on Bodmin is practically a rite of passage round these parts. Have you had any other experiences since then, or was it just the one incident?

Don't worry mate, you're in good company. Bodmin's got decades of reports - electromagnetic interference is definitely a thing on those moors. Could be geological, could be something else entirely. Stick around and tell us more! 👽

First post and you're already hitting us with the good stuff! When you say the radio went off - was it a particular frequency, or just completely dead? And did you notice anything else odd? Sometimes people forget the little details that actually matter.

Just to check - did you actually see anything, or just experience the electrical issues? Not trying to be a bore, just helps when filing these things properly.
