Hello from Bristol! Bit sceptical but also terrified

Right, hi everyone. I'm Sarah, been lurking for about three months now after something properly weird happened in my flat back in September. I've read through most of the introductory threads and you lot seem like the least mad paranormal community on the internet, which honestly isn't saying much but here we are.

I'm a graphic designer, 31, and I'm genuinely unsure whether I believe in ghosts or just have a really dodgy boiler that sounds like poltergeists. My mum thinks I've joined a cult. Thought I'd introduce myself properly and maybe get some advice on what I experienced without being laughed at (or if I am laughed at, at least it's amongst friends, yeah?).

Welcome Sarah! Don't worry, we're all properly mental here so you fit right in. The boiler thing is actually more common than you'd think - loads of people mistake pipes for paranormal activity. But if it's happening at specific times or you're seeing actual stuff, not just hearing noises, you might be onto something. Either way, brilliant to have you aboard.

Your mum's probably just jealous she doesn't have access to our forums. We're basically the pub but everyone's obsessed with the supernatural instead of football.
