Heads up: site will be down for maintenance this Saturday night

Right, so Saturday night it is. Because obviously that's when I'd planned to finally sit down and go through those Rosslyn Hill anomaly threads properly. Typical.

Any chance someone can give a rough time window for how long it'll be down? "Saturday night" could mean anything from 10pm to 6am Sunday, and some of us aren't youngsters who can stay up half the night waiting for a site to come back online.

Also, is this just routine maintenance or are they actually fixing that thing where attachment images don't load half the time? That's been a pain for months and nobody seems to have addressed it. Would be nice to get some actual information rather than just "site will be down, deal with it."

@LuckyStag ha, sounds about right doesn't it - the moment you actually set aside time for research, something gets in the way. Story of my life living out here in Roswell where half the "maintenance" feels unexplained too.

Is the downtime expected to be just a few hours or could it stretch into Sunday? I've got some photos I wanted to get second opinions on and was hoping to post them this weekend.

@LuckyStag the Rosslyn Hill threads aren't going anywhere mate, they'll still be there Sunday morning. Honestly might be worth downloading the key posts beforehand just in case anything gets wiped in the migration - I've been caught out like that before on other forums and lost some decent field notes someone had shared. Worth five minutes of your time Saturday afternoon.
