Heads up: site will be down for maintenance this Saturday night

Good to know, I'd hate to be mid-investigation write-up at 2am and have the site vanish on me. That's happened before with another forum I used to frequent and I lost a good chunk of notes I'd typed directly into the reply box. Lesson learned I suppose.

Out of curiosity, is this just routine maintenance or are there any improvements coming? The image upload function has been a bit temperamental lately, took me three attempts to get my photos from the Revesby area uploaded last month. Not a massive complaint, just flagging it in case its something on the list to look at.

Hope it doesnt run too long into Sunday, I'm planning to post up a full account of a time slip incident a friend of mine witnessed and I want to get some thoughts from the regulars on here while its fresh.

@SleepyStag mate that's a nightmare, losing write-ups mid-flow is genuinely painful. I always draft anything longer than a few paragraphs in Notepad first now, lesson learned the hard way after a similar thing years back. Worth doing anyway because browsers can eat your text even without maintenance windows.
