Honestly though, fair play to the mods for the heads up rather than just pulling the plug mid-thread. Nothing worse than typing out a massive response about earth mysteries only for the whole thing to vanish into the void (though given the topics we discuss around here, maybe the void is exactly where it belongs 👀).
Is it worth us having a backup plan for the downtime? Like, does anyone use the Quirk Reports Discord or is there a Facebook group where the conversation carries on? Would be good to know there's somewhere to natter while the site's getting its MOT done.
Also genuinely curious - what kind of maintenance are we talking? Just the usual tightening of bolts, or are we getting any new features? A dedicated Near-Death Experience subforum has been on my wishlist for ages, just quietly putting that out there... 🙏
