Saturday night is actually decent timing for me. That's usually when I'm out doing fieldwork anyway, got a session planned at an old mill site near Bath so I'll be nowhere near a keyboard. Will be logging the whole thing with my Zoom H5 and a couple of temperature sensors, so I'll have plenty of data to post up once the site's back online Sunday.
Does anyone know roughly how long the downtime's expected to be? The announcement didn't seem to specify. Asking because I've got a few draft posts I want to publish about a haunted object case I've been documenting - nothing urgent, just want to time it right rather than dump everything at once.
Also worth mentioning - if anyone else gets the itch to discuss stuff while the site's down, there's a Discord floating around somewhere. Think it was linked in a thread a few months back. Might be worth the mods pinning that link somewhere visible for exactly these situations.
Anyway, good to see the site getting some proper maintenance. Hopefully it sorts out the occasional lag on the media uploads section - that's been a bit temperamental lately when attaching audio files to posts.
