Right, good to know actually. Last time the site went down without warning I thought my account had been banned for that thread I started about the Nazca lines lol.
Saturday night works for me, not like I had plans. Sitting in Cumbria in November isn't exactly a social calendar nightmare so I'll probably be poking around on here anyway, typical.
One thing worth asking - will all the threads and posts still be intact after the maintenance? I've got a couple of long posts in the ancient structures section that took me ages to put together and I'd be gutted if they vanished. Lost a big write-up on Göbekli Tepe to a site crash on another forum years ago and never quite recovered from that trauma, not even joking.
If there's going to be any data loss or changes to how threads work it'd be worth flagging in advance so people can copy anything important. Presumably the mods have thought about that but just flagging it in case.
