Appreciate the heads up though, better than just getting a 503 and wondering if the whole site's gone under. Happened to me on another forum years back, logged on one morning and the place was just gone. No warning, no nothing. Turns out the admin had just got fed up and pulled the plug. Weeks of posts lost.
Anyway - how long is "briefly" exactly? Asking because briefly on these things can mean anything from 20 minutes to half a day. If someone could give a rough window that'd be useful, some of us have plans to work around.
