Never been to that specific one but I've done a fair few abandoned sanatoriums over the years - there's something about those places that just hits different to regular haunted buildings. The history is layered in a way that feels almost physical when you're walking the wards.
What were you actually experiencing? Because I think context matters a lot with these sites. People go in primed to see things and sometimes that muddies the water. Not saying that's what happened with you, just genuinely curious whether it was visual, auditory, atmospheric, or something else.
Sanatoriums from that era especially tend to have a real weight to them. Decades of suffering concentrated in one building, a lot of people who never left. I'd expect something to linger in a place like that whether you believe in conventional haunting or more of an environmental recording type explanation.
Drop some details, would be good to hear what actually happened rather than just the general feeling of it.
