Never looked deeply into Dogman before but this thread caught my eye because a mate of mine drove through Michigan a couple of years back and came home talking about something he saw near a treeline at dusk. He's not the type to make things up, very practical bloke, and he described something moving on two legs that was definitely not a person. The proportions were wrong apparently, too long in the limb.
What gets me is how often these reports cluster around large bodies of water. I've noticed the same thing with some of the stranger accounts here in the UK actually, not Dogman specifically but unusual creature sightings tend to follow rivers and coastlines. Like the water means something, or maybe its just that forests grow thicker near water and things can stay hidden easier.
Are the Great Lakes sightings following any particular stretch of shoreline or is it spread right across all five? Would be interested to see if theres a pattern geographically.
