Been following the Great Lakes reports for a few years now and yeah, theres definitely a noticeable uptick since around 2021. Wisconsin especially. Not sure if its actual increased activity or just more people with phones and a willingness to report what they saw without being laughed out of the room.
What strikes me about these sightings is the consistency in the descriptions - bipedal, 7 to 8 feet, that unsettling "wrong" gait people always mention. Hard to explain that away as misidentified bears when you get 15 separate witnesses saying basically the same thing across different counties.
Anyone else tracking the geographical spread? Curious whether its moving along the shoreline or more inland. I mostly work with psychic phenomena but cryptid cases occasionally overlap in ways that are genuinely interesting, particularly around areas with strong ley line activity.
