Not really my area - I'm more into UFO stuff - but I did go down a rabbit hole on Dogman reports a while back and the Great Lakes cluster is hard to ignore. There does seem to be a pattern geographically but I'm never sure how much of that is actual sightings vs people being inspired by other reports they've read online and then misidentifying something mundane.
Genuine question though, are the recent sightings coming with any physical evidence or is it purely eyewitness testimony? Because thats the thing that always makes me cautious with cryptid cases, witness accounts are interesting but without something tangible its difficult to know what to make of it.
Anyone know if there's a researcher actively cataloguing the new reports? Would be curious to see if theres a more specific area within the Great Lakes region where these are clustering.
