Honestly hadn't clocked this until you mentioned it, but went back through some reports I'd bookmarked and yeah - there does seem to be a cluster forming around the Michigan/Wisconsin shoreline specifically. Weird.
Not my usual territory (I'm more of a ghost hunting type, Glasgow based, so not exactly nipping over to Lake Michigan for a weekend) but I've been proper fascinated by Dogman stuff lately. Started down the rabbit hole after listening to some old Dogman Encounters Radio episodes.
Few things I've noticed from the reports:
Timing - loads of them seem to happen at dusk or just after, which obviously makes eyewitness reliability tricky, Proximity to water - nearly all the recent ones are within a mile or so of the shoreline, which is an odd pattern, Witness profiles - not just random folk, some are hunters and outdoorsy types who know what they're looking at
What I can't figure out is whether we're seeing more actual encounters or just better reporting infrastructure now. Social media and sites like this make it way easier to document stuff.
Anyone here actually based near the Great Lakes region? Would love to hear firsthand accounts rather than just aggregated reports. And if anyone's done proper field investigations out there - what kit were you using? I'm curious whether trail cams have picked anything useful up.
