Actually this is something i've been wondering about for a while. There are a few old disused railway lines running through parts of South Wales and I've heard local stories about something big and upright being spotted near them more than once. My neighbour's son swore he saw something near the old Taff Vale line a couple of years back and he's not the type to make things up.
Do you think there's something about the corridors these old lines create through the landscape? Like they cut through woodland in ways that might create natural pathways for something to travel without being seen for long distances. Or could it be connected to the earthworks themselves, the cuttings and embankments?
Has anyone else noticed this pattern in their own area? I'd love to know if this is showing up elsewhere in the UK or if its mainly a US thing with the sightings.
