Never looked into Dogman much before but this thread caught my eye because theres definitely something to old infrastructure and paranormal clustering. In my experience doing EVP work and ghost hunting, abandoned railways and stations come up constantly as hotspots, way more than random woodland. My theory, and its just a theory, is that these old corridors acted as ley lines or energy channels for decades and something about that accumulated residue attracts... whatever these things are.
The railroad near Glossop keeps coming up in local reports and I've been meaning to get out there with the recorder. Anyone else mapping these sighting locations properly? Would be worth overlaying them on old OS maps to see if theres a pattern. Feels like the kind of project that could actually produce something solid rather than just swapping stories.
