Has anyone else noticed more Dogman sightings happening near old railroad lines?

Never thought I'd end up in a cryptozoology thread but honestly this is fascinating because we've got old rail lines running through the desert out here in New Mexico and weird stuff gets reported near them all the time, though its usually more of the MIB variety for me personally. But now I'm wondering if there's something about the corridors these old lines cut through - like maybe certain paths through the landscape just attract weirdness in general regardless of what flavour of weird you're into. Anyone mapping these sightings against the actual rail routes? Feels like someone should be doing a proper overlay of this.
