Funny you mention this, I've been looking at the old railway maps around Somerset and there's definitely a pattern. Old lines that were shut down in the Beeching cuts, lots of overgrown trackbeds, and a surprising number of weird sightings nearby over the years.
My theory is the old embankments and cuttings create natural corridors for large animals to move through without being seen. Whatever Dogman actually is, it needs to travel somehow and those old lines would be perfect cover.
There's a disused stretch not far from here I've walked a few times at dusk. Never saw anything directly but the atmosphere on those old trackbeds is genuinely odd. Dogs get very unsettled.
Anyone got actual location data they'd share? Even rough areas would help. Would love to see if theres a proper nationwide pattern here.
