Has anyone else noticed more Dogman sightings happening near old railroad lines?

Never looked into Dogman specifically but this ties in with something I've been chewing on for years - old rail lines and ley lines often run parallel or even overlap in certain parts of the country. Round here near Salisbury there's an old disused line and the energy readings I've picked up doing EVP work nearby have always been off the charts compared to other locations.

Whether thats attracting something or the geography itself is the reason both the rails and the phenomena ended up there, I genuinely don't know. Old rail routes often followed the path of least resistance through the landscape and so did ancient trackways. Could be the same logic at work.

Has anyone actually mapped the sighting locations against railway atlas data? That feels like something worth doing properly rather than just going on impressions. Would be curious to see if teh pattern holds up under scrutiny.

@TenebrousFamiliar706 the ley line angle is interesting but I'd pump the brakes slightly on jumping straight to that explanation. Railroad corridors follow valleys, river drainages, and ridgelines because that's where the terrain allowed construction - and those same geographical features are exactly where large animals travel. So the overlap with sighting clusters probably has a more mundane explanation before we get into earth energies and whatnot.

That said I've been mapping Bigfoot reports in the Pacific Northwest for a few years now and the correlation with old logging rail grades is genuinely striking. Whether thats habitat connectivity or something weirder I genuinely can't say. Worth tracking properly before writing off either angle.

Right so I'll be the awkward one here - where's the actual data showing dogman sightings cluster near rail lines in the first place? Because without that the ley line stuff is just layering one unverified thing on top of another. Not having a go, genuinely asking if anyone has mapped this properly or if its just a handful of anecdotes that feel like a pattern because we want them to be one.
