Never done much cryptid work myself, mostly stick to EVP and ghost stuff, but this caught my eye because a mate of mine up near Glossop swears he saw something big and upright near the old Woodhead line a few years back. Dismissed it at the time but he's not the sort to make things up.
The rail line connection is interesting. Old infrastructure, lots of tunnels, abandoned stations - makes you wonder if theres something about the disruption or the history of the land underneath. Or maybe its just that rail corridors create long strips of undisturbed habitat away from roads and people.
Anyone got specific locations they're looking at? Would be curious whether it clusters around active lines or derelict ones more.
