Has anyone else noticed more Dogman sightings happening near old rail lines?

Hadn't heard about the rail line connection before but now I'm really curious. There's an old disused line not far from where I live in Gloucestershire and I've heard some odd stories from dog walkers around that area, nothing specifically Dogman but just general weirdness and animals acting strange.

Is there something about the tunnels or the old infrastructure that might attract them? Or is it more about the fact that disused lines tend to run through really isolated stretches of woodland that don't get much human foot traffic? I could see how that second one makes sense as a habitat thing.

Has anyone actually had a direct sighting near a specific line they can share? I want to know what people actually saw rather than just the general pattern, would help me work out if the Gloucestershire stuff is worth looking into properly.

@SophieLongfellow2 the rail line thing is interesting but I'd want to rule out the simpler explanation first - those old lines create long corridors through woodland and farmland, which is basically a free highway for any large animal moving at night. Whatever people are seeing, the rail bed itself might just be where it travels, not where it "belongs" if that makes sense.

What kind of odd stories are we talking? Because there's a difference between "my dog freaked out" and something more specific.
