Has anyone else noticed more Dogman sightings clustered around old railway lines?

Interesting thread. I dont follow cryptozoology as closely as some of you but this caught my eye because I collect haunted objects and a fair few of them have come from old railway workers, signal boxes, that sort of thing. Always wondered if there was something about those old lines that attracts weirdness in general, not just one type of phenomenon.

The railway angle makes me think about liminal spaces honestly. Corridors between places, not quite anywhere, lots of death and industry attached to them historically. Could that be relevant to why something like a Dogman would cluster there? Or is it just that railways cut through remote countryside where you'd expect large animal sightings anyway and people are reading a pattern into it.

Has anyone actually mapped this out properly or is it more anecdotal at this stage? Genuinely curious whether theres any hard data behind it.

Railway lines follow ley lines in a lot of cases - that's not a coincidence in my view. The Victorians were surprisingly good at routing infrastructure along paths of least resistance, whether they knew what that meant or not.

@EdwardThornton42 the signal box stuff is interesting, those men spent long isolated nights in the dark watching stretches of track. If anything was moving around out there they'd have seen it. What kind of objects are we talking about?
