Has anyone else noticed an uptick in Dogman sightings near the Great Lakes lately?

Never really followed Dogman stuff but the spike in Great Lakes reports lately is hard to ignore even for a casual lurker like me. What gets me is how consistent the descriptions are - tall, bipedal, dark fur, that weird loping gait people keep mentioning. You'd expect more variation if it was just misidentification or people copying each other online.

Anyone know if there's a pattern with the seasons or time of year? Feels like most of the recent ones are clustered around the same few months which reminds me of how alien abduction reports tend to cluster too, like theres something environmental or cyclical driving it rather than random chance.

Genuinely curious if any of you lot have looked into whether the uptick lines up with anything unusual happening in teh region - weather, animal migration, anything like that. Or is this just the internet doing what it does and amplifying a handful of reports into a "wave."

Not really my area but the description consistency thing does bug me in a good way - like how many people independently come up with "7 foot wolf man walking upright" without comparing notes first? That's the bit that's hard to hand-wave away.

Although I will say if I lived near the Great Lakes and saw something like that I'd move to Oregon. Then I'd see
