Has anyone else noticed an uptick in Dogman sightings near the Great Lakes lately?

Not my usual area tbh, I'm more of a shadow people guy, but I have been noticing more dogman reports popping up in my feeds lately and yeah, a fair few seem to cluster around the Great Lakes region specifically.

Makes me wonder if theres something environmental going on - habitat disruption or something pushing these things into more visible areas? Same thing gets suggested with bigfoot sightings sometimes.

Anyone got actual firsthand accounts or are we mostly talking about secondhand stuff circulating on socials? Genuine reports are so much more useful than the ones that've been passed around and embellished 50 times over. Would love to hear from anyone who's actually been out there or knows someone who has.

Dogman sightings cluster near water, abduction accounts do too - starting to think whatever's going on out there really likes a decent lake view.

Not my cryptid territory at all but the water connection is something I keep coming back to. A lot of the most credible EVP sessions I've done have been near rivers or coastline - something about moving water and whatever frequency it produces. Whether that's relevant to dogman I couldn't say but @gareth_pembrook is onto something with the clustering. These things don't seem to be random.
