Interesting timing on this thread because I've been cross-referencing some of those Great Lakes sightings with ley line maps and there's a noticeable clustering near a few convergence points, particularly around the Lake Michigan shoreline. Makes me wonder if whatever draws these things to specific areas has more to do with geomagnetic activity than habitat.
Question for anyone who's done fieldwork up there - are witnesses reporting the typical bipedal behaviour or anything different in how these things are moving? I've noticed in older Appalachian accounts (closer to my end) there tends to be a correlation between sighting frequency and periods of heightened electromagnetic disturbance but I've never had solid data from the Great Lakes region to compare against.
Also curious whether any MIB activity has followed up on witnesses in that area. That pattern shows up more than people realise and it'd be worth documenting if anyone has had contact after reporting a sighting.
