Not my usual area (I'm more of a poltergeist and Mothman person) but this has caught my attention because the sheer volume of reports coming out of Michigan and Wisconsin over the past 18 months or so does seem unusually high even by Dogman standards.
What I keep wondering is whether theres a connection to the broader uptick in interdimensional activity that a lot of researchers have been flagging. Like, are we dealing with a flesh and blood cryptid or something that's crossing over from somewhere else entirely? The way some witnesses describe the movement - almost glitchy, not quite right for a physical animal - reminds me a lot of Mothman encounter reports.
Has anyone mapped the sighting locations against known ley lines or geological fault lines in the region? That would be really interesting data to have. And are the sightings clustering around any particular times of year or is it spread across all seasons?
