Has anyone else noticed an increase in Dogman sightings near the Great Lakes this year?

Yeah I've been watching this one closely. The Great Lakes cluster is interesting because it mirrors something I noticed with Mothman reports in the Ohio Valley back around 2017-18, where you get this sudden geographic concentration before the sightings kind of... spread outward or just stop entirely.

My working theory with these dogman cases is that you're not necessarily dealing with a flesh and blood animal, or at least not one that operates by normal biological rules. The overlap with areas of high geomagnetic anomaly is hard to ignore. There's a decent body of research now linking cryptid hotspots to fault lines and areas where the EM field does weird things, and the Lake Superior shoreline has some genuinely unusual geology.

What I'd really want to know from anyone reporting sightings is whether there was any associated strangeness - missing time, equipment failure, that feeling of being watched before the actual encounter. Those details get dropped from reports all the time but they matter a lot for understanding what we're actually dealing with here. Anyone got raw witness accounts rather than the summarised versions?

Never paid much attention to Dogman stuff but my mate sent me a link last week about a sighting near Lake Superior and even I had to admit it didn't sound like someone taking the mick. The clustering pattern you're describing is interesting though - we see the same thing with MIB reports, they tend to spike in specific regions for a year or two then go quiet. Wonder if theres something environmental triggering it or if its just reporting bias from people getting braver about coming forward.
