Has anyone else noticed a spike in Dogman sightings along the Great Lakes this year?

Not my usual area at all - I'm more of a ghost/poltergeist person myself - but this thread caught my eye because my cousin lives near Lake Erie and she mentioned something weird she saw last autumn. Wouldn't call it a Dogman exactly but she said it moved wrong, like the proportions were off for any normal animal.

What's actually driving the spike though, do you reckon? Are there more people with cameras and dashcams out there so more sightings get recorded, or is something genuinely different happening around the Lakes this year? I always wonder with these things whether its a reporting increase or an actual increase.

Has anyone mapped the sightings geographically? Would be interesting to see if theres a pattern along specific stretches of shoreline rather than spread evenly across the whole region.

Not my usual territory either - I'm more of a UFO/Mothman person - but I've noticed the Dogman reports do seem to cluster around large bodies of water, which is interesting because Mothman sightings do exactly the same thing. Point Pleasant is right on the Ohio River, and a lot of the credible Mothman accounts come from people near bridges or rivers.

@BrandonBanshee what did your cousin actually see? That's the bit I want to hear. Was it bipedal or on all fours? That detail tends to separate the genuine Dogman accounts from misidentified wildlife in my experience reading through these reports.
