Never been to Briar Hill specifically but I've done a fair bit of exploring around old abandoned sites in West Virginia and I'm real curious about this one. Western PA isn't too far from me so I might actually be able to make the trip.
What draws me to places like old sanatoria is the shadow figure activity. I've seen what I can only describe as tall dark shapes moving through corridors at a couple of locations near here, and from what I've read, places with a lot of concentrated human suffering tend to attract that kind of presence more than anywhere else.
Has anyone caught anything on camera there? I know shadow people are notoriously hard to capture but even a partial image or an unexplained shape in the background of a photo would be worth seeing. Also curious whether the activity tends to be in specific parts of the building or spread throughout. Some of these old places seem to have certain rooms that are basically hotspots compared to the rest.
