Never been to Ohio myself but this place keeps coming up whenever I go down rabbit holes about abandoned asylums in the States. The history alone is enough - patients left behind when it closed, whole wings just sealed off.
What really got me interested was a YouTube clip where someone picked up what sounded like a child's voice on their recorder in the east corridor. I do a bit of EVP work myself and that clip had the kind of clarity you almost never get. No reverb artefacts, no obvious contamination from the investigators talking.
Has anyone here actually visited or done a proper investigation there? Curious whether the experiences tend to cluster around specific parts of the building or if its more spread out. Also wondering if anyone's had visual stuff rather than just audio, because a couple of accounts I've read mention shadow figures near the old treatment rooms.
