Been keeping an eye on this for a few months now. The casts coming out of Skamania County specifically are interesting - the dermal ridge detail on some of them is hard to fake convincingly at that scale and depth.
What gets me is the stride length variations. A hoaxer using stomper-style fake feet would produce more consistent spacing but these show something shifting its weight naturally across uneven ground. Seen similar patterns in older Patterson-era documentation.
Anyone else noticed the clustering around the same creek systems as the 2019 sightings? Feels like theres a territorial range being mapped out if you look at the reports together on a map.
Got contacts out there doing fieldwork. Waiting on plaster results from a cast taken last month before saying more. Anyone else tracking this closely? Would be good to pool what we're all seeing.
