Been keeping an eye on this one from across the pond and the cluster of sightings around the Arkansas/Missouri border last autumn is genuinely hard to dismiss as misidentification. Three separate witnesses describing the same red-eyed thing within about a six week window, none of them apparently knowing each other. That's not nothing.
What gets me is how little mainstream attention it pulls compared to Bigfoot or the Beast of Busco or whatever the flavour of the month is. The Ozark Howler feels almost deliberately overlooked and I can't work out if thats because the evidence is weak or because the region itself is just off the radar for the bigger researchers.
Anyone actually been out to the Ozarks to do fieldwork? Or are we all just watching from our laptops like the armchair cryptozoologists we absolutely are.
