Bit outside my usual patch (Devon, so not exactly popping over to check), but I've been following the Ohio River reports with interest because the witness descriptions keep nagging at me in a Mandela Effect kind of way.
Multiple independent witnesses describing the same animal with near-identical details - that pattern is something I track closely. When accounts converge like that without the witnesses having contact with each other, it raises genuine questions.
What I want to know is whether anyone has mapped the sighting locations against each other yet. Is there a cluster forming or are they spread out along the whole length of the river? Also has anyone looked into whether similar reports existed in that area 20-30 years ago and whether teh descriptions match what's being reported now? Because if the details have stayed consistent across decades thats actually more interesting to me than the sightings themselves.
Someone must be keeping a proper log of these. Surely.
