Has anyone else been tracking the bigfoot sightings along the Pacific Crest Trail this season?

Been following this loosely from across the pond and the cluster of reports coming out of the Northern California section this season is genuinely hard to ignore. What gets me is how consistent the descriptions are - the gait, the smell, the way it apparently just melts back into the tree line. You don't get that kind of consistency with mass hysteria or attention seekers.

Anyone here actually walking sections of the PCT this year? I'd love to hear first hand accounts rather than the secondhand stuff that filters through the usual channels. The trail camera footage someone posted on Reddit last month was intriguing but the resolution made it difficult to draw any firm conclusions.

From a psychic phenomena angle I've actually been wondering whether some of these encounters carry a precognitive or telepathic element - quite a few witnesses mention feeling watched or "warned off" before they actually see anything. That pattern keeps coming up and I dont think its coincidence. Would be good to hear what others make of that side of things.

@Gaz I'm sat here in Pembrokeshire where the most exotic creature I've photographed is a confused seagull, and even that blurred photo got questioned on here.

The consistency of the PCT reports is what gets me too - normally with these things every witness describes something completely different, but when multiple people are independently reporting similar details from the same stretch of trail
