Not really my area if I'm honest - I'm more of a UFO/abduction bloke - but I've been reading through some of the reports coming out of Washington state with interest. The Patterson-Gimlin territory stuff especially.
What I'm curious about is whether anyone's cross-referencing the sighting locations with any kind of pattern, like are they clustering around certain elevations or terrain types? I noticed someone on another forum mentioned the sightings seem to follow water sources but I don't know how reliable that claim is.
Also has anyone managed to get any decent photographic evidence this season? That's where I'd love to see the field really move forward. So much of the footage is either too dark or too shaky to mean anything. Are there any serious researchers out thier with proper kit doing systematic surveys along teh trail, or is it mostly just hikers reporting after the fact?
