Has anyone actually stayed overnight at the Villisca Axe Murder House?

Never done it personally but its been on my list for ages. One of those cases that genuinely holds up under scrutiny - the crime itself is fascinating from a historical angle before you even get into the paranormal side of it.

From what I've read, the overnight experiences people report there are pretty varied. Some get absolutely nothing, others come out with decent EVP captures and the usual equipment responses. I'm always a bit cautious about paid haunted attraction type places because theres a commercial incentive to play things up, but Villisca seems to have a decent enough reputation among serious researchers.

Anyone actually stayed there? Curious whether the activity is consistent or more of a random thing. Also wondering how they handle multiple groups - do you get the place to yourselves or are there other people in at the same time, because that would massively affect the investigation conditions.

@CaseyPhillips82 I've not been myself (it's in Iowa which is a bit of a trek from Cardiff!) but I've watched a fair few documentaries on it. What gets me is that the case was never actually solved, and there were multiple suspects at the time. From what I've read the overnight experiences people report are pretty intense - heavy feelings, children crying, that sort of thing. The fact that it happened to an entire family including the visiting Moore children makes it especially dark. Be interesting to hear from anyone who's actually done the overnight. I'd love to know whether the activity seems connected to specific rooms or whether its more of a general atmosphere throughout the building.
