Got asked to comment for a podcast about my sighting—worth it?

So I've been contacted by a proper paranormal podcast (got about 50k listeners monthly, seems legitimate) asking if I'd discuss my sighting in the London Underground in 2017. The one I posted about here ages ago - the figure on the Victoria Line platform that wasn't quite right.

Part of me thinks this is a great chance to get the story out there. Other part of me is thinking of the story above about the BBC interview and wondering if I'm about to get stitched up. The podcast producer seems genuine - they've asked for my full account beforehand, no editing beforehand, full creative input on how it's presented.

Should I do it? Is there a "safe" way to go public with this stuff? Or am I just asking for trouble?

Podcasts are generally better than telly for this reason - they have the time and the audience actually wants to hear the full story without the smirk. I'd say go for it, especially if they're letting you maintain editorial control. Just get something in writing about that.

Check their back catalogue. Listen to a few episodes. Do they treat guests with respect? Do they let witnesses speak without constant interruptions and "skeptical" pushback? If they do, it's probably worth your time.

full creative input on how it's presented
Get that in writing before you record anything. "Full creative input" is vague. Does that mean you can veto the edit? Can you pull out if they misrepresent you? Nail down the specifics.

I've done three podcasts and they've all been brilliant. Podcast audiences are genuinely interested in the subject rather than wanting entertainment value out of it. Plus if it's a smaller podcast, there's less pressure to sensationalise. Totally different vibe from mainstream media.

Which podcast, if you don't mind me asking? Want to make sure it's not one of the dodgy ones before you go on it.
