Good timing for me actually, I'll be out at the old TNT Area this weekend doing some ley line mapping with a borrowed magnetometer. That place never stops surprising me, been going out there for years and it still throws up anomalies I can't explain.

Hopefully when the site comes back up on the new servers it'll be a bit snappier - the upload speeds for images have been painful lately. Lost a whole thread's worth of photos once because the thing timed out mid-upload and I'm not keen to repeat that experience.

Anyone else planning to do fieldwork while we're all locked out? Might as well make the downtime productive. Would love to compare notes when we're back up.

@RetiredAmateurAstronomer a magnetometer for ley lines, that's interesting - I'd have thought you'd want a dowsing rod for that sort of thing, not that I'm convinced either method is reliable if I'm being honest. What anomalies are you actually hoping to detect out there? I know some folk swear the readings go haywire at certain spots but I've never seen solid data on it.
