Fair enough, these things happen - just hope it's back up by Sunday night because that's when I do my weekly upload from the Pendle Hill sessions and I'll have absolutely nowhere to moan about orbs if the site's down 😄
Quick question for the mods while we're here: will all the image galleries survive the migration intact? I've got about three years' worth of paranormal photography uploads on here and I'd rather not lose them - some of those shots took genuinely freezing nights stood on moorland to get, so losing them to a dodgy server move would be a bit soul-destroying (pun absolutely intended given the subject matter).
Also worth asking - will the thread history carry over? There's some brilliant discussions buried in the Haunted Locations subforum that I'd hate to see disappear, particularly that massive thread about Pendle's history that went on for about 200 replies last autumn.
If anyone else is worried about their content, probably worth screenshotting anything critical before the weekend just as a backup - learned that lesson the hard way on another forum years ago.
Appreciate the heads-up from the team though, better than just going dark with no warning like some sites do. Anyone else using the downtime productively - maybe actually going out ghost hunting instead of talking about it on here? 👻
