Did the shadow figure I caught on my ring camera actually move on its own or am I losing my mind

You're not losing your mind, mate - ring cameras have caught some properly wild stuff over the years and shadow figures are right up there with the most documented phenomena we see on here.

The key thing I always look at is whether the movement follows any light source logic. If a car headlight or passing torch could explain it, fair enough. But if it moves against the light or with no obvious cause, that's when it gets interesting.

Shropshire's riddled with ley line intersections and I've personally watched things on my own cameras that I still can't explain after twenty years of this lark. Post the footage if you can, this lot are pretty good at ruling out the mundane stuff first before we get excited - which is honestly the right way to do it.

What time of night was it? That's often more relevant than people realise.
