Caught the footage last night - watched it twice on my laptop and then again through my Blackvue dash cam setup mirrored to the big screen to get a cleaner look at the contrast.
The figure in the third floor corridor around the 2:14 mark is interesting. What strikes me isn't the shape itself but the movement pattern. It doesn't drift or glitch the way lens flare or IR reflection usually does. There's a deliberate quality to it - almost like it's tracking something off-frame to the left.
Waverly Hills has such a dense history of recorded activity that I'm always cautious about confirmation bias when reviewing footage from there. Our brains are wired to find faces and figures in noise. That said, I've reviewed enough genuinely anomalous material over the years to know this sits in a different category to the usual pareidolia cases.
Few things worth considering:
What camera rig were they using? IR sensitivity varies massively, Was there a second operator off-camera who could account for it?, Has anyone pulled the raw file rather than the compressed YouTube upload?
The compression artefacts on the version circulating on Twitter are doing nobody any favours. If someone has access to the original footage I'd genuinely like to run it through Davinci Resolve and look at the frame data properly.
What's everyone else reading from it? Particularly curious whether anyone with EVP experience noticed anything in the audio bed around that same timestamp.
